"9W Round Trip"
a short docu-fiction by:
Lorenza Cerbini, Elena Petrillo, Cosmo Frasca
In Bergen County, 25 miles from Soho in downtown New York City, there is a small Italian language newspaper called "America Oggi." When the summer arrives, Lorenza takes advantage of the beautiful days by commuting from the metropolis to New Jersey by bicycle.
A round trip includes the path along the Hudson River, the gigantic and historical George Washington Bridge, as well as sunny Route 9W, which has a combination of breathtaking scenery and a strenuous workout.
"9W Round Trip" was shot on a Saturday at the end of May, 2007. The movie was financed with only $100 (sandwiches and gasoline for the truck). |
